Hello Everyone.
Sorry I've been away. I've been focusing on making my Christmas cards and doing my Christmas shopping. A friend of mine asked if I could make a thank you GIFT that she could give to someone in her church. Since I declared in an earlier post that my absolute favorite Cricut cartridge is Forever Young, I didn't hesitate to pull it out of the cabinet and use it AGAIN. I don't know who the genius is at Provo Craft who came up with this cartridge, but, I'd like to buy them a cup of coffee (or at least suggest that they get a raise and a big fat bonus). Enough of me gushing over the designer. Below is what I came up with and I think it's so super cute that I made one for myself.
Project Name: Thank You, Sister!
Recipe: Cricut Expression; Forever Young cartridge; Stampin' Up Bliss Blue and Very Vanilla card stock; Stampin' Up Silver heat embossing powder; heat gun; Stampin' Up sentiment from Wonderful Words stamp set; black frame, blue trimmed black mat and stand from Hobby Lobby; dry embossed vanilla background cardstock using Score Pal; dress made from designer paper from Hobby Lobby.
I hope you enjoyed this project. More to follow...

Forever Young Cartridge
By far my favorite Cricut cartridge, Forever Young is both sassy and sweet. This design is slightly cased from Mumoftwo but I've used colors that will be admired by a few friends of mine. Look for lots of cards from the Forever Young cartridge.
Recipe: Forever Young Cartridge (images cut at 3); Cricut Expression; Stampin Up Cardstock (Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette, Pink Pixie, Basic Black, White; $1 ribbon from Michael's; Sentiment from My Pink Stamper - Family and Friends.
