About Me

For those who don't know me personally, I thought I'd add a little commentary about myself.

I was introduced to card crafting several years ago when a friend of mine gave me the most delightful birthday cards and Christmas cards. I asked her how she found the cards, because I thought they were store bought, and she told me that she was a "rubber stamper". She invited me to her Stampin' Up demonstrators house for stamp club and that was where my love affair with card crafting began.

I love learning new techniques and introducing those techniques to other non-card crafters. I find that people LOVE the personal touch of a handmade card, especially when the details on the inside of the card are personalized for the individual receiving the handmade card.

I've started offering wedding packages, which include everything from the save the date card, invitation, RSVP, menu card, and thank you notes all customized around the personally selected wedding theme. I also love designing invitations to birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and baby showers, my personal favorite.

After seeing so many cards made with digi stamps and colored in with Copic markers, I've decided to dive into the crazy world of Copics. Copics are alcohol based markers that come in varying shades to give a supreme shading effect. When the artist is really good, the imagine has a lifelike shading. I am currently learning Copics techniques and hope to bring you some designs using some fantastic images, colored in using Copics.

If you are reading this page, please take the time to explore the projects I have posted and feel free to leave comments. In the future, I look forward to creating card crafting challenges and having my fellow card crafters participate and post their challenge entries on my blog for all to see.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a Happy Scrappy Day!
